I have been lucky to be a patient of Kristi’s for about a decade. I’ve seen her for various orthopedic injuries and ailments. Kristi has a wonderful mix of deep physiology expertise, practical problem-solving, and great interpersonal skills.

So many times she quietly demonstrated her expertise when I would think, “Why is she working on me over there, when I hurt over here? Oh wait. I suddenly feel better.” And she then explains the causes of your issue, so you can take better care of yourself.

She takes a practical approach to understanding both the cause of your ailment, and what activities you want to return to in your life, and helps you create an incremental plan for achieving it.

And her “tableside manner” is just wonderful. She takes time to learn about her patients, and treats the whole person, not just the injury.

I worked with Kristi on two separate occasions for shoulder and upper back pain I suffered
during swimming. Kristi went above and beyond what I expected from a PT. With her expertise
in swimming, she took photos of my muscle movement and analyzed a given swim video and
showed me the areas of weakness causing my problems. She then crafted exercises and
showed me some swim stroke changes for me to practice.
Kristi was very patient as I sometimes struggled and she helped me understand the importance
of neuromuscular control, which takes time and hard work to build. She even helped with my
running knee exercises when I asked. Any PT can give you exercises for pain, but Kristi’s
personal approach is something that is hard to find.
Her support and perseverance translated into great results. Since my PT sessions, I have been
able to swim and run without pain.
